Lake Nighthorse - Durango, CO
Lake Nighthorse is a Colorado treasure. This nearly 1,500-acre lake offers relatively consistent wind patterns on pristine mountain water. Close to downtown Durango, we affectionately refer to this gorgeous body of water as “Durango’s Infinity Pool.” Sailing here does not disappoint. With views of the La Plata’s majestic glacial peaks to the west, the cool, clean waters of Lake Nighthorse offer relief from the heat and a perfect escape from the bustle of the city. Part of the Animas-La Plata Water Project, Lake Nighthorse provides water storage for tribal and water right claim-holders along the Animas River.

Navajo Lake - Arboles, CO
Get ready to set your sails, reef them down, anchor in a cove and enjoy an amazing sunset. On the border between Colorado and New Mexico, Lake Navajo offers notoriously stronger winds that start from the north in the morning and from the south in the afternoon. Enjoy its warm waters and incredible views from the comfort of our bigger sloop vessels. The 2nd largest body of water in New Mexico, Navajo Lake contains water from the San Juan River, which flows south out of Navajo Dam and boasts some of the best fly fishing in the country.

The Gulf of California
Famed French explorer Jacques Cousteau once referred to the Sea of Cortez as “The Aquarium of the World.” With its aquamarine water, coves, islands and inlets teeming with a kaleidoscope of marine life, the Sea of Cortez is truly a treasure trove of natural wonders and beauty.
You could not ask for a better classroom to learn how to sail or to charter your next adventure. The beauty and quiet of this place will change you forever.
